I’m Yael Vazanna,

​founder of Studio Vazanna, an architecture and interior design studio based in Haarlem.

I studied Architecture at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, graduating in 2012.

Over the past decade,I have gained extensive experience in established architectural firms, contributing to projects ranging from residential and commercial buildings to urban-scale masterplans.

This background shaped my approach to space - grounded in proportion, clarity, and precise detailing.

In 2020, I founded my studio to create thoughtful, functional design across different scales  - from full renovations to refined individual spaces, custom-designed furniture and tailored design consultations.

Born in the Netherlands and raised between cultures, I was influenced by contrasting environments, climates, and traditions. This perspective continues to guide my work, fostering a sensitivity to context, materials, and the way spaces are truly lived in.

​My work is shaped by honest materials, natural textures and thoughtful detailing, inspired by nature’s forms and tones.

Each project begins with listening - shaping spaces around needs and the context of the place - its light, proportions and existing constraints  to create spaces that feel considered and lasting.

I believe a well-designed space should feel balanced and authentic -

a place where we can truly be ourselves.
