This project criticizes the H structure typology; which characterizes single-dimensional residential complexes. These plans are often done without any consideration of the current surroundings nor the fact that it is the only building in the vicinity. The direction of sunlight and wind are not taken into account, and there is no variety within the type of apartments. The nature of the inhabitants in such a neighborhood often ends up monotonous, which leads to slumber neighborhoods.

 

Revisiting the need for a single building influenced by its location and surroundings led to a unique building design. This building is shaped in a way which utilizes the sun rays and offers a wide range of apartment sizes ranging between 60 square meters, geared towards students, young couples and the elderly, to 125 square meters to accommodate families.
